Exploring the Future, Discussing Development
During the conference, Mr. Zhang Bo, President of the China Ecological Civilization Research and Promotion Association, and Professor Chen Guanghao from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology delivered keynote speeches respectively.
Mr. Zhang Bo delivered a keynote speech titled "The Logic and Strategy of Ecological Environmental Protection in the New Era", in which he analyzed the new challenges facing ecological conservation amid coordinated efforts to reduce carbon emissions, cut pollution, expand green development, maintain economic growth. He systematically articulated the underlying logic and strategic approaches required for environmental protection in this new phase, emphasizing the need for integrated solutions to balance ecological and developmental priorities.
Professor Chen Guanghao took his "Future Water Factory" project as an example, introducing a series of groundbreaking key innovative technologies in wastewater treatment and reuse. This integrated demonstration achieves minimization of waste discharge, maximization of potable water resource recovery, recovery of high-value-added biochemical raw materials. It pioneers an innovative solution path to effectively address the severe challenge of urban water resource shortages.
