Recently, the "2022 China New Economy Enterprise 500 List" was officially released, with Weiming Environment Protection securing a place at 168th position with a comprehensive score of 738.9 points.
This evaluation, conducted for the third consecutive year by the China Enterprise Evaluation Association, uses market value/valuation as the primary metric, adjusted by seven categories and 14 sub-indicators including enterprise scale, profitability, growth rate, innovation drive, social contribution, social influence, and internationalization. The list aims to identify China’s top 500 new economy enterprises. This marks Weiming’s second consecutive appearance on the list, climbing over 100 spots from its 2021 ranking of 283rd.
Despite challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic in recent years, Weiming has maintained rapid growth by expanding its low-carbon environmental protection business, achieving consistent performance improvements, and venturing into the new energy battery materials sector and international markets. This upward trajectory has fueled the company’s accelerated development. The repeated inclusion and significant ranking advancement reflect strong market and industry recognition of Weiming’s operational performance, strategic industrial layout, and future prospects, as well as affirmation of its social impact and contributions.
The list aims to promote China’s new economy development by highlighting exemplary enterprises in emerging industries, business models, and innovative formats. In this year’s rankings, Tencent retained the top position, followed by Alibaba and TikTok in second and third places, respectively.
